Tim’s approach on this spot was to play with time by digitally fragmenting the image much like in the way a transmitted signal can brake up.
These transitions allow for the wardrobe to change and lighting to move from midday to sun set. The shadow movement you can see in the overhead shot was created by mounting a 10k light on a 30ft crane. The crane then sweeps and lowers to move the models shadow in a way that simulates the sun setting as in a time laps. All camera moves were performed with a large Techno crane.
It was a joy to work on this spot and a plusher to photograph the very lovely Jennifer Hawkins.
